Oatmeal w/ powdered milk and dried fruit - I don’t bother with Mountain House meals . . . too expensive!

Trail mix

Your favorite snacks or candy

Your favorite drink powder - Nuun tablets, Gatorade, etc.

Tea/hot cocoa/instant coffee

Hygiene/Self Care

First aid kit w/ emergency bivy blanket, waterproof matches, ibuprofen, Benadryl, ACE wrap, tweezers, gauze, tape, and moleskin

Any medications you usually take

Medical alert bracelet/message if you have a condition that warrants this

Trash bags 

Blue bags - you can get these at the ranger station

Chapstick w/ sunscreen

Toothbrush + toothpaste

Audiobooks, music, podcasts and your device

Sunscreen

Earplugs and sleeping mask

Camera

Write in the Rain journal
